Chaminade's Dance Rules and Dress Code: Doors close at 8:00PM and students will not be permitted to leave until the dance ends at 10:00PM. Senior students may leave at 9:30PM. Underclassman attending the dance with a senior may not leave before 10:00PM. There are no refunds for no-shows and your ticket is your student ID. Students who do not show up to the dance will be called. If your plans change, a parent or guardian should email awilkerson@chaminade.org. As part of our continued effort to strengthen student safety, the following protocols will continue as standard procedure for all dances this year. These protocols include: Random breathalyzer tests, increased security from an outside agency, presence of school administrators, and clearly articulated rules for appropriate attire and dancing. Further, the following prohibitions will be in place: No water bottles, gum, mints, glow sticks, liquid makeup, lip gloss, perfume, or any other containers of liquids. Dress Code: This is a casual dance and students are invited to come in theme dress; however, there are some dress code guidelines that must be followed. Modesty is the overriding principle in determining dress for the dance. Shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh, no short shorts, jeans (no holes), capris, and knee length skirts are allowed. Tops with spaghetti straps, halter tops or plunging necklines may not be worn. T-shirts are allowed as long as there are no inappropriate logos or writing on them. No bare midriffs or sheer clothing are allowed. No swimwear. Sandals and tennis shoes may be worn.
