This year, students from the Fred Newhart Middle School Leadership Program have the opportunity to participate in the annual conference hosted by the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL). The conference is scheduled to take place in Ontario, California, from April 16–18, 2026, aligning with regular school days. Students attending will be responsible for catching up on any missed schoolwork. The registration fee covers all meals, activities, and hotel accommodations. The conference is packed with fun activities from beginning to end, so there will not be time to complete any homework assigned during that period. The cost of the trip is $650 per student.
